Whoever thought that one dinner at Olive Garden over zuppa toscana soup, breadsticks, and pasta would re-ignite a passion for writing? Whoever thought that what I had to write about was even important? I'm sure there are many, but there was one who put that back into perspective for me. Thank you A! I love to write, I love to read, I love to sing. I can honestly say that the latter is what I find myself doing the most these days. While in this season of growth, maturity, and seeking, I have to admit that I've lost the fire for many of my passions. I have allowed past situations, hurts, pains, and decisions to take root in my mind causing my thought pattern to be that of negativity and self-loathing. I REFUSE to sit back anymore and allow myself to stay in that place. God has blessed me with many talents and gifts and I will be doing myself and HIM a disservice if I choose to sit down on them.....so I won't. I love to write...however, I find myself starting and never finishing. So a great friend of mine suggested that I start this blog to not only have a place for the things I have written but to also ask, "Hmm, what do you think?" How do you think the story will end?
